Mr. Yarnell's twenty years experience as a trial lawyer in complex commercial matters, together with many years managing a busy civil trial calendar while on the bench, has lead to a keen understanding of the needs and difficulties presented in the cost effective resolution of complex disputes. He has a working knowledge in most commercial areas, including: construction, real estate, banking, sales, franchise, technology and intellectual property. Mr. Yarnell also has considerable experience in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death and professional negligence.

Mr. Yarnell is a member of the American Arbitration Association panel of commercial and construction arbitrators and also conducts private arbitrations. Since retiring from the trial bench has conducted over thirty arbitrations, including service on three arbitrator panels.
