Mr. Yarnell is a frequent lecturer and presenter of continuing legal education for bar associations and private professional education providers.
He has received a Masters of Arts in Education, with a specialty in e-education, from the University of Phoenix. He has attended the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) course for Nita facilitators. He is active in the area of judicial education and developed the Maricopa County Superior Court civil judge's web portal, dubbed "Blackstone."
Mr. Yarnell is an adjunct professor of law at the University of Canberra, Canberra, AU in the area of court technology and has taught at the Arizona State University College of Law as an adjunct professor.
Recently retired from full time teaching as Associate Professor of Law and Director of Externships at the Phoenix School of Law, Mr. Yarnell taught full time from August 2005 thru July 2011, including courses in civil procedure and property. He designed, implemented and supervised the Phoenix School of Law student externship program.
